After being down for a majority of the first half to the Apaches of Arlington Country Day, Oak Hill used a 10-0 run at the beginning of the 2nd half to get a comfortable lead in the second half on to an 83-66 victory. Irmo native Devonte Shuler (20pts) led the 2nd half charge with a thunderous dunk off a steal and the hot hand of Ty-Shon Alexander (26pts; 6-6 from 3pt) helped extend the second half lead. Alonzo Verge (13pts) and Luguetz Dort ( 15pts and 10rebs) helped the Apaches stay with and lead Oak Hill for much of the first half. In the end though, the depth and guard play of Oak Hill was too much for Arlington Country Day.
Oak Hill will now move on to play in the semi-finals of the National Divison on Monday night at 7:00pm in the main gym, while Arlington Country Day will play Keenan at 6:25 on Monday in the auxillary gym.
