Game 6

After a lackluster start to the game, Greenforest Christian looked as though they  would run away with the game after going up by as much as 16 points in the first half behind the sharp shooting of Justin Forrest. The Chargers of Providence Day would slowly chip away at the lead throughout the second half. Devon Dotson would get two key steals in the last minute of the game to help the Chargers take the lead for the first time with under 10 seconds left. However, John OGwuuche of Greenforest Christian would not let the Eagles go down like that as he drove the length of the floor and hit a 18f foot jump shot with one second  left to give the lead back to the Eagles. The Chargers had a halfcourt shot with .5 seconds left but could not convert as the Eagles prevailed in what turned out to be an exciting finish.

Greenforest was led in scoring by Forrest (21pts) and John Ogwuuche (15pts). They also shot 50% as a team from the 3pt arc. Grant Williams of Providence Day finished with a double double (14pts and 10rebs), Trey Wertz had 16pts, Devon Dotson had 11pts, and Josh Howard had 15pts. Greenforest moves on to play at 3:50 on Monday afternoon in the semi-finals of the American Bracket, while Providence Day will play in the losers bracket at 3:20 vs Richland Northeast in the auxillary gym.
