In a sluggish start for both teams, the Bengals of Blythewood fell behind by 9 points early but a few 3-pointers by Freshmen Charles Jackson and Sophomore Robert Braswell helped keep the Bengals in the game as they stood toe to toe with the Oak Hill Warriors for a half. In the second half the Warriors of Oak Hill turned up the “juice” and continuously scored off there defense and quick outlets from defensive rebounds to jump ahead early and put the game away. The Warriors scored 62 points in the second half to turn a 6 point half time lead into a huge semi final victory. Braxton Key and Mario Kegler led the Warriors with 16 points each while Blythewood was led by Rober Braswell and Charles Jackson who both had 13 points.
The Warriors will move on to the finals of the National Division tomorrow night against Huntington Prep.
