Eagles Finish Off the Bengals

After being down 21-3 midway through the first half, the Bengals of Blythewood clawed their way back into the game cutting Oldsmar’s lead down to as little as six but went into halftime down 11 points (24-35). Oldsmar got off to a quick start in the second half and extended the lead to as much as 14 points with ten minutes to go in the game. But the Eagles of Oldsmar continuously scored on fast breaks and drives to the basket to go up as many as 18 points. The Eagles would not allow the Bengals to get any closer than 13 points down the stretch on their way to a 61-48 victory to claim 3rd place in the National Division.
