Wheeler Runs Wild Over Cannon

525 Reads

Wheeler quickly jumped out to a 16-5 lead and kept the gas peddle on as they used their defense to break open the first half to a 38-19 lead at halftime. The turnovers they created helped generate numerous transition opportunities for Jordan Tucker and Brandon Younginer. The second half was more of the same as Darius Perry converted several turnovers in to points at the start of the half to start the rout of the Cougars. The Wildcats had 4 players in double figures with Perry (22 points) and EJ Montgomery (20 points) leading the way for the Wildcats to their 95-70 victory.

Wheeler will now face Blythewood on Thursday at 5:25 in the Main Gym.
