Prolific Prep came in to this semifinal looking to do what someone has never done at the Chick-Fil-A Classic and that is beat Oak Hill. Oak Hill would build a small league on the hot shooting of Will Richardson and Keyontae Johnson. The Warriors would also get strong contributions from David McCormack with his inside play. The Crew from Napa Valley also came to play and would keep the first half tightly contested with the strong play of Jeenathon Williams who knocked down 2 three-pointers for a first half high of 14 points. The Crew would go into halftime down 37-35.

Keyonte Johnson got the second half started with a monster jam and Oak Hill was off and running early getting up as much as 10 points on The Crew. Sekou Toure would help get the momentum back to Prolific with 10:57 to go on a thunderous dunk to cut the lead to 50-44. The Warriors would hold Prolific Prep scoreless the next 2 minutes going up 56-44 with 8:13 to go. Oak Hill would stay up by 12 points throughout the next 6 minutes with strong guard play from the Johnson’s and would finish off The Crew by a score of 72-56.

Keyontae Johnson led the Warriors with 19 points and Will Richardson followed with 18 points.

Oak Hill will compete for its 4th Chick-Fil-A Championship on Saturday at 6:45 versus IMG.
