Tevin Mack (Class of 2015)

Tevin Mack and Dreher High School opened up day 1 of the Chick-Fil-A Classic taking on Seventh Woods & Hammond School. Mack lead his team to a 70-67 double-overtime victory by dropping 43 points, shooting 13-31 from the field and going 14-17 from the line. Watch as the future VCU scoring machine lights up the stage in Columbia, SC!

Brandon Ingram (Class of 2015)

This is 6’9″ Brandon Ingram (Kinston) putting a defender on a poster today at the Chick-Fil-A Classic in Columbia, SC. The dunk went down in a close game situation late in the fourth, which sparked a comeback win for Kinston High. UNC’s Roy Williams, NC State’s Rob Moxy, & USC’s Frant Martin were all in the house to check out the match-up between Ingram & Spring Valley’s PJ Dozier. Ingram finished the game with 26 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assist and Kinston got the win 69-68. His counter part, PJ Doizer, finished with 13 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assist in 11 minutes of action.

Dennis Smith Jr (Class of 2016)

Dennis Smith Jr is considered one of the best point guards in the country and, being a junior, he’s got another year to get better. These highlights are comprised of six games played over two weeks, in two different holiday tournaments. The first is from the Chick-Fil-A Classic played in Columbia, SC and the second is the HSOT Holiday Invitational played in Raleigh, NC. Smith averaged over 25ppg in these six games and did so facing double teams the majority of the time. If Dennis Smith Jr can impress one of the NBA’s best point guards, I’d say he might be worth giving a look.
