Cameron Boozer scored 23 points and added 16 rebounds and Cayden Boozer added 14 points and seven assists as Columbus (FL) annihilated Lexington (SC) 84-44 in an American bracket contest.

The Boozer twins are just sophomores and are the sons of former Duke and NBA standout Carlos Boozer. Cameron Boozer is considered the top ranked prospect in the Class of 2025.

The Explorers never trailed and held a 31-1 lead before the Wildcats scored their first field goal at the 4:45 mark of the second quarter. Lexington did end the half on an 8-0 run and trailed 35-11 at the half.

Columbus is ranked No. 12 in the country by ESPN. Everyone got involved in the action with Benny Fragela adding 12 points and Garyn Bess chipping in with 11 points.

Lexington is the No. 2 ranked Class 5A team in SC but never got on track. The Wildcats shot 20 percent in the first half and 33.3 percent for the game. Jaxon Prunty led Lexington with 12 points.

Columbus will face John Marshall on Thursday at 3:50 in a winner’s backet of the American division. Lexington has a quick turnaround and must play Greensboro Day at 9:10 am Thursday in the consolation bracket.
