Greensboro Day (NC) used a fourth-quarter run ro defeat Lexington (SC), 57-49, on Thursday in the American Division consolation game at Chick-fil-A Classic.

Greensboro will play the AC Flora/River Bluff winner on Friday while Lexington gets the loser.

Virginia Tech signee Jaydon Young led the way with 25 points. Jordan Moody had 12 points and Joseph Bachman had 20.

Greensboro has won at least one game in all four CFA appearances.

Greensboro led 25-22 at halftime and was up 38-36 in the fourth quarter.  The Bengals went on 6-0 run capped off by Will Otto’s slam to make it 44-38 with 3:36 left.

Cam Scott led Lexington with 19 points and Jose Figueroa added 13 off the bench.
