Keenan finished out the Chick-fil-A Classic on a strong note with a 57-46 win in the American Bracket consolation championship over host River Bluff.

The Raiders finished the tournament at 2-1, the first time since 2018 they have won multiple games in the event. Keenan has played in every CFA Classic since 2002. It’s also the first time this season Keenan has won back-to-back games as it gets ready for region play. 

Cedric Schofield led the way with 23 points and Brian Sumpter added 14 for the Raiders.

Keenan trailed 14-10 in the second quarter but went on a 13-0 run in the final 6:30 to lead 23-14 at halftime. The Raiders stretched the lead to as many as 17 points in the third quarter.

Yasir Cromer led River Bluff with 20 points. Cromer averaged 17.6 points in the Gators’ three games. Alex Robbins added 12. The Gators finished the tournament at 1-2, winning a game for the first time in three years playing in the event.
