Babatunde Duradola scored 17 points and Chris Kitenge added 13 points to lead DME Academy (FL) to a 62-56 victory over Hillcrest Prep (AZ) Thursday afternoon.

DME Academy led by as many as 13 points in the third quarter but watched as the Bruins trimmed the margin to two, 58-56, on a three-pointer from Jason Asemota with 1:21 remaining. Moustapha Thiam, a 7-foot-2 junior, pushed the lead back to four with two free throws with 29 seconds remaining. Hillcrest Prep missed two three-point attempts before Kymani Walters added a layup with 10 seconds remaining to provide the final margin.

Asemota scored 12 points and Tristian Beckford and Tarik Watson scored 11 points each for Hillcrest Prep. DME Academy dominated the glass, outrebounding the Bruins 35-22. Thiam snagged 12 rebounds to go along with his 7 points. DME Academy shot 65 percent in the first half in building a 34-28 lead.
